The role requires:
- Educational counseling and school selection: Consultation with clients and
parents/guardians to help students choose the right school, university or program based on their
academic goals, interests and financial resources. - Application and Admissions Assistance: Counselors assist with the application process,
including preparing necessary documents, writing letters of recommendation for students, and
ensuring that all admission requirements are met. Review of transcripts to ensure compliance
with graduation or college entrance requirements. Process I-20 applications for US schools - Visa and immigration support: Advising on visa applications, documentation, and
interview preparation is essential; conducting training for international students to help
students answer interview questions at the U.S. Consulate in Vietnam. - Cultural and pre-departure orientation: Preparing students for life abroad includes
understanding cultural differences, adjusting to new educational systems, and managing
expectations. - Organize and facilitate orientation programs and group conferences to help individuals
adjust to new experiences, such as starting college. - Be available to work overtime (night shift) when needed to work with clients outside the US.
